The beauty of our Irish Coastline is beyond words. Every bit of it has its own story to tell, its own rhythm, its own currents and its own rugged beauty. Bere Island is no exception and the photo today was taken near Ardnakinna Lighthouse.

'Today I hurry off to school, to work and learn and play. I'm in a brand new class this year. What a happy day!' ~Author Unknown

Today is back to school for many after the summer holidays. For some children it is a very exciting day and their parents as they begin school for the first time. For others they have made the transition to secondary school and begin a whole new journey there. For nearly everyone it is good to be back to a routine again. Routine allows us to be comfortable with what we have to do and what we like to do. For many schools September feels like the beginning of a new year. There is a great sense of anticipation and looking forward. As we begin our journey through this month of September, we ask God's blessings on all of us. We ask God to help us with our daily routine. We pray also that back to school will go smoothly for everyone especially for those starting school for the first time.
