This Magnolia flower has been waiting and waiting until the moment was right. The protective buds slowly peel back to reveal great beauty within. Nature’s message is clear and simple…spring has arrived.
‘To solve the human equation we need to add love, subtract hate, multiply good and divide between truth and error.’ ~Janet Coleman
Maths has been described as not making simple things complicated but making complicated things simple. Don’t we all need to make things in life much more straightforward and simple. It is we who complicate life and make it so difficult at times for us. In our Gospels Jesus spent most of his time telling people to keep their lives, their faith, their values and everything important, simple and down to earth. This message is even more relevant in the fast and at times exhausting pace of life that we live in today. A good prayer starter today might be:
‘Lord, help me to add some love into some persons life today, help me to subtract hate and all stuff negative, help me to multiply all the good I can do today and help me to divide my time by using it in the best way I can. Amen’
