Photo was taken from the tower of Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool (Eng)
The views from Liverpool Cathedral are stunning to say the least. Any trip to Liverpool has to include a visit to this Cathedral. For £3 you can take the lifts right up to the top. Every side of Liverpool can be seen including its two great footballing clubs, Liverpool and Everton. Our photo today is looking out onto the main section of the city centre, with the radio tower in the centre. One can never get lost on the streets of Liverpool with the radio tower always within your sight.
‘I praise loudly, I blame softly.’ ~Catherine II of Russia
When a plant does not do well, we don’t blame the plant. We look for reasons as to why it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer or more water. It may need more sunshine or perhaps more shade. But we never actually blame the plant. Why is it that when we have problems with our friends or our families we tend to blame the other person? We fail to look at the bigger picture. Blaming has no positive effects at all. It is often deflating, a waste of time and counter productive. It is always much better for us to give our time and energy into words of praise and encouragement. Praise loudly is great advice but even better again is to blame softly.
