High winds and heavy showers swept across Ireland over the weekend. Such a combination churned up the sea to produce spectacular waves at Garretstown. As always the camera was on hand to capture the moment!

‘If my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.’ ~Jesse Jackson
There is a sense of getting back to normal today with all our schools reopening after the Easter break. With the clocks going forward an hour over the weekend, there were probably a few extra yawns this morning! But pushing the clocks forward means we can enjoy longer evenings and hopefully an improvement in the weather. We could also spiritually move forward as well. It could well be worth the effort moving on from stuff that won’t move with us. If we have done something wrong, if we have made a mistake, if there is someone who has been dragging us down or back, can we have the courage to simply move on ourselves? But doing so can sometimes be difficult. We ask God today for courage and guidance in moving on from stuff that may have been holding us back in recent times.
