The following anonymous story is called ‘Reflect A Little Sunshine’ and is appropriate as we begin our journey through Advent tomorrow.

In a tenement district of New York City, a boy in ragged clothes was seen with a small mirror in his hand. Holding it high in the air, he waved it back and forth, watching the narrow window many floors above him. “What are you doing?” a man roared at the boy. “Like most street urchins, you’re probably up to some no good mischief, aren’t you?” The boy looked up into the man’s stern face and said: “See that window up there, Sir. Well, I have a little brother whose room’s on that floor. He’s paralyzed and the only sunlight he ever sees is what I can shine up to him with my mirror!”
