Sometimes a close up of a flower like the Camellia, shows nature’s inner miracle at its best. It may look delicate but yet strong enough to make it stand out and be a survivor.

‘Even if all you can do is crawl across the floor, it’s better than just sitting there doing nothing.’ ~Author Unknown
The cardiac arrest of Bolton player Fabrice Muamba, during the Bolton v Spurs FA cup quarter final on Sat evening has been a huge talking point. Seeing the players on both sides so visibly upset on the pitch following his collapse made it such a shock for everyone. Thankfully he is reportedly to be doing much better in hospital. The reality of how serious the situation was just shows how fragile life can be at the best of times. It is so easy to take life and everything for granted. We know we can be pulled back to reality in a moment. When we feel vulnerable, unsure, uncertain, afraid or confused because of life’s complexities it is best to keep taking those tiny steps. Sometimes all we can do is crawl but at least we’re doing our best and trying to move forward. A prayer today might be to include those who are finding it difficult because of some unexpected event or crisis. We pray that they will find the strength to keep going through what is challenging and wearying. Such a prayer always has meaning and a great help even when other options are few and far between.
