It’s just great that Cork are in the All Ireland final tomorrow. There is such a buzz in the city and county. There are so many Cork flags, proudly waving everywhere. There were many schools who did a red and white day yesterday. In my school in Col√°iste Choilm, Ballincollig there was great excitement and banter all day. One of our teachers Cathal Leahy who is from Co.Clare, put a blue and yellow flag on top of our rebel display at the school entrance! He had a big smile all day with his Clare jersey on, until he went to his car after school and found it all wrapped in red and white tape from top to bottom! The rebels always have their say!! It goes without saying that we are so proud of our team. They have given everyone such a lift. The team are such a huge positive influence on so many young people. Sport is the real winner here and how important it is to be part of a team, part of a community and part of a family where we all play our part and how each of us makes a vital difference. It’s going to be a great weekend, a great game and a great result. Up the rebels!
