For the past few months we have experienced lots of rain, floods and exceptionally mild weather. Much of it has been so unseasonal, with daffodils in full flower and nature definitely confused. It was a whole new experience this weekend as temperatures plummeted. Snow fell on many mountains across Ireland and lots of roads were icy. So maybe just maybe, we are going back to a more normal winter again

Our Thought Today is by Catherine Clarke, Chaplain Portmarnock Community School
“I don’t know where I am going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring”. ~ David Bowie
This week the world mourns David Bowie, a famous rock star who has given a lot to the world with his music and talent. David Bowie was 69years of age and has passed away following his battle with cancer over the past eighteen months. Today let us think of his words “I don’t know where I am going from here but I promise it won’t be boring”. None of us know where we are going and each day we need to be thankful for our health and the fact that we are alive, let us commit to making life interesting and exciting for ourselves and those around us. Let us pray for those who are undergoing treatment for cancer at this present time, our thoughts are with David Bowies family at this difficult time, May he rest in peace.
