“I don’t know where I am going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring”. ~ David Bowie
This week the world mourns David Bowie, a famous rock star who has given a lot to the world with his music and talent. David Bowie was 69 years of age and has passed away following his battle with cancer over the past eighteen months. Today let us think of his words “I don’t know where I am going from here but I promise it won’t be boring”. None of us know where we are going and each day we need to be thankful for our health and the fact that we are alive, let us commit to making life interesting and exciting for ourselves and those around us. Let us pray for those who are undergoing treatment for cancer at this present time, our thoughts are with David Bowies family at this difficult time, May he rest in peace.
Thanks to Catherine for sending it on

In our gospels we are encouraged to go the extra mile, to go out of our way in making a difference to someone else and to seize the initiative when no one else will. This does not mean that we are pushed to levels that are uncomfortable or outside what we can do. But we encouraged to push further than what’s needed. It’s the extra little bit which can make an extraordinary difference to somebody else
