I took this photo yesterday afternoon at 5pm at Millstreet, Co.Cork. It is one of the last parades in Co.Cork but as the saying goes it is all about saving the best till last!!!

Saint Patrick offers a voice of hope. If anyone knew hardship, difficulty and challenge it was Patrick himself. Our prayer to St Patrick today is a prayer for peace, peace in our world but also in your life too.

Christ in the eye that sees me,

Christ in the ear that hears me.

We pray for God’s strength to help us,
God’s wisdom to guide us,
God’s eye to be our vision,
God’s ear for our hearing,
God’s word for our speech,
God’s hand to protect us,
God’s pathway before us,
God’s shield for our shelter,
