(As this is Easter week and tends to be a quieter week after Holy Week, I am taking a few days off. All the normal bits and pieces here will return as normal next Monday April 17th. In the meantime you have a lovely Easter week whatever your plans are.)

Thought For The Week
“Let the resurrection joy lift us from loneliness and weakness and despair to strength and beauty and happiness.” ~Floyd Tomkins
The story of Good Friday last week is very much our story. It picks up on our sadness, our pain, our challenges, our difficulties and the crosses we all have to carry in life from time to time. But some people choose to stay in Good Friday. They forget to take the step out of the tomb into the light or just don’t have the confidence to do so. A small nervous step forward towards new beginnings is infinitely better than none at all.
As Christians and believers we believe that our story does not end on Good Friday. There has to be something more. Easter is all about hope, new beginnings, new life and taking small steps forward in hope. It is about believing in ourselves, believing in love and kindness and being open to God’s blessings in our lives. I would like to wish you a Happy Easter and every blessing on you and your family.
