With the countdown on to the All Ireland Hurling Final tomorrow between Cork and Clare, it’s fair to say that anything red in the photo today would be most appropriate!! I picked these beautiful raspberries in my garden during the week.

It’s just great that Cork are in the All Ireland final tomorrow. There is such a buzz in the city and county. There are so many Cork flags, proudly waving everywhere. It goes without saying that we are so proud of our team. They have given everyone such a lift. I personally have never seen such excitement and enthusiasm ahead of an All Ireland final.
The team are such a huge positive influence for so many but especially for so many of young people. Sport is the real winner here and how important it is to be part of a team, and part of a family and part of a community where we all play our part . It’s also important for each of us to know we all make a difference too each day.
Its good to be part of the team that is Cork. It’s good to be part of the team that is God’s family too. It’s going to be a great weekend, a great game and a great result. Up the rebels!
