Peter and Teresa Wills getting their combination of eggs, flour and milk just right to make some pancakes for the day that's in it.

Here is the recipe:
100g Flour
2 Eggs
200ml Milk mixed with 75ml water

Sift flour into a mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre of the flour and break the eggs into it. Whisk well. Slowly add the milk and water, whisking as you go. Cook in a pan over a medium heat. Before eating add some icing sugar and lemon juice. Enjoy!!

If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way. ~Napoleon Hill

Today is Shrove Tuesday or better known as Pancake Tuesday. This day is always celebrated before the beginning of Lent. Its origins go back in time when fasting was a much stricter part of the Lenten journey. Everyone used up their supplies of fat, butter and eggs before Lent began and so the custom of making pancakes began. The recipe is so simple using a combination of eggs, flour and milk. In life the tastiest and most rewarding moments often come from a combination of a few simple ones put together. It is never one big one on its own. These are rare and exceptional. Often its the simple things done well that always stand out. Many pancakes will be made later on. They will be a gentle reminder to us, how important it is to do the small things well.
